Taylor Lautner, aka Twilight's Jacob the werewolf, has landed the role of 'Stretch Armstrong' in an upcoming action blockbuster. The film will follow in the footsteps of Avatar, and join the ever increasing list of new movies to be developed using 3D technology.
Set to be released in 2012, Lautner will play an uptight spy who takes a stretching formula and must adapt to using his new found skills in everyday life and in fighting crime.
For those needing a reminder, Stretch Armstrong is the HASBRO toy action figure, whose limbs could be pulled apart in every which direction by kids without being destroyed.
All you dedicated Jacobites out there will no doubt relish the opportunity to see Lautner go from werewolf to Superhero and witness those infamous muscles in 3D: there's no doubt that Taylor's giving Robert Pattison a run for his money as the new heartthrob on the block. As well as Stretch Armstrong, Lautner will be smouldering in the rest of the Twilight saga (of course), and the lead roles in Max Steel and Cancun.
